Novell NetWare 2.15 and SYSCON.EXE

A number of people have reported problems to us when running SYSCON on Novell Advanced software 2.15. The problems would occur when trying to access various options under USER INFORMATION on a workstation with an add-in Ethernet card. When selecting an option (e.g. other information), a message "PLEASE WAIT" would appear, and then after a minute or so the workstation would show: "Network Error on server <server name>: Error receiving from Network. Abort Retry?"

This problem would NOT occur if using the Apricot on-board Ethernet Adapter.

The problem has been acknowledged by Novell UK, and appears only to be in SYSCON.EXE V2.20b (the latest version).

NOTE: SYSCON.EXE V 2.21b is available on the Technical Support Bulletin Board in file area 28 as SYS221.ZIP.
