Qi 900 and NetWare 286 - Non-Dedicated mode

As with the current i486 based VX FT Servers, the Qi 900 will NOT support the use of Advanced NetWare 286 in NON-DEDICATED MODE. This is because the Phoenix ROM BIOS used with the current i486 chips will not support the i486 running in 8088 mode.

This problem will NOT affect NetWare 286 running in DEDICATED mode.

It is possible that future BIOS changes may overcome this problem, but no timescales are yet available.
