VX-Net 3.14 - LANstations and AMLOAD.EXE

VX-Net release 3.14 (now available) includes support within NETGEN for the new LANstations. There is however a problem whereby the current release of AMLOAD.EXE (VERSION 4.02) does not run correctly on the LANstations, and so you cannot load the network software above 640K.

There is a version of AMLOAD.EXE that does work, but as it is not yet a final release version, it is not yet a part of the VX-Net release pack. AMLOAD.EXE Version 4.02.04 (beta) is currently available for download from File Area 38 of the Apricot Technical Support BBS, and this version will support the LANstation correctly. However, as this version is still a beta version, it will not be fully supported by the Technical Support Group.

As soon as Version 4.03 of AMLOAD.EXE becomes available, it will replace Version 4.02.04 (beta), and will then become a fully supported release. We will issue another bulletin as soon as version 4.03 is available.
