SCO Xenix 2.3.4

As announced in Unix News 13, this product is now shipping for both AT/ISA and MCA Bus machines. The following fixes have been implemented and are no longer required upon installation.

  1. XNX146 for Irwin tape drives on the Qi range.
  2. XNX149 for single chip Tecmar/Wangtek cards on AT/ISA Bus products.
  3. XNX166 (or WANGXNX) for single chip Tecmar/Wangtek cards on MCA Bus products.
  4. Console driver fix for MCA Xenix systems.

Please note these two points:

The 16MB patch for Xenix as detailed in IPB 3061 is still required.

This product will not run on Apricot VX1000 AT Bus machines. Any company selling Xenix 2.3.4 on the Apricot VX1000 does so at its own risk as Apricot categorically states it will not work on the Apricot supplied product. The use of an alternative SCSI card is not supported by Apricot. The only supported release of SCO Xenix for the Apricot VX1000 is 2.3.1 AT.
