Server Environment for UNIX
Further to IPB 3171, all FT//s and FT//e
series can now run the Apricot UPS software irrespective of the type of SCSI controller
installed as long as both components below are installed.
- All FT//s and FT//e servers should be installed with Release 8.1 Server
Environment or later.
- The security processor is release 5.13 or later.
Any new machines should have the 5.13 security processor already fitted.
The updated processor is only required if the UPS component of the Unix Server Environment
is being installed. The processor is located in the bottom left corner of the I/O board
when installed in IC52.
