Wangtek Tape Drives

We have found a problem with WANGTEK tape drives that when installed, display the message "NO TAPE CONTROLLER FOUND". This was caused by the cable inside the tape unit being fitted upside down at the tape drive. You can refit this the right way up and the tape will work OK.

The same message can occur if the controller card hasn't been set correctly, so the above information assumes you have set the card correctly. See Dealer Technical Bulletin for details.
