1MB memory modules (XB48036) are not supported in XEN-LS systems (Venus IV). They are supported in XEN-S (Venus I - BIOS must be greater than 1.2.12), XEN-S (Venus II), Qi 300 (Model Number > 43000) and LANstation (Krypton D & F).

4MB memory modules (XB48038) are currently supplied on daughterboards fitted with three rows of pins. The smaller third row is a redundant connector and is not required for normal operation. When installing this module into system units with only two rows of sockets, use the pinning strips supplied with the module to provide clearance for the third connector above the motherboard

6MByte memory modules (XB49039) may only be used in XEN-LS 386SX-20 and LANstation 386SX-20. They may only be installed onto motherboards fitted with 2MByte of base memory.

8MByte memory modules (XB44940) may NOT be installed into any Qi 300 systems or XEN-S (Venus I) systems. The module may be installed into XEN-S (Venus II), XEN-LS (Venus IV) and LANstation (Krypton D & F) systems. This memory module requires the use of a third set of connecting pins, sockets for which are only present on XEN-S (Venus II), XEN-LS and LANstation.
